A playful and humbling introduction to taking things upside down in your yoga practice. Yoga is a metaphor for life; facing your fears on your mat gives us confidence to face fears in our everyday lives!
Getting upside down can be daunting for fear of falling, so join us for this workshop where we'll practice in a safe supportive way that will set you up to to delve into inversions and move forward in your practice.
Combining elements of core, arm & shoulder strength we'll build you up step by step to give you the confidence needed to get upside down. Options given for ALL levels. Beginners welcome :)

We will dive deep into how to create freedom and strength in your shoulders, neck and upper back, through the use of focussed breath and Forrest inspired Yoga poses.
You will safely learn to unlock these habitual tension spots by strengthening and lengthening the key muscles around the joints to create space and ease of movement.
Bringing focus and intelligence to these ‘problem’ areas will help you to glide through your life with grace, poise and freedom and a greater sense of spaciousness; a must for anyone shackled to a desk during the daytime, anyone active but suffering injury and anyone who walks through life with habitual tension in their neck, shoulders and upper back, in fact, ANYONE!
"Safe, Intelligent & Comfortable backbends"
Are you a backbend lover or backbend hater? Whichever you are this is the workshop for you :)
The workshop will focus on building strength in the legs and core and gaining flexibility in the shudders, hips and back to achieve safe backbends.
Learn to backbend with ease and freedom. The first two hour will be dedicated to learning different drills and techniques that will help strengthen the core and legs, and engage correctly the bandhas to create a solid, and safe base for your backbends. In the second part of the workshop, were will work on the flexibility of the shoulders, chest, hip flexors and spine in order to deepen your backbend practice. You will learn to use your breath and fundamental alignment techniques to achieve an healthy, deep beautiful backbend. We will break down the different components of the backbends and delve deeply, yet safely into these wonderful poses.
